Dining across Huddersfield is about as varied as it comes. Big chains and eateries can be found in the main market town, but venture slightly further out into the hills and surrounding areas and they are punctuated with some absolute gems.
With different cuisines from modern English classic, Greek, Asian Fusion and Persian, there’s also lots to suit every pocket too, from mid-priced eateries to high end restaurants with amazing bars, not to mention views.
As outdoor dining, for those that have dedicated space, is set to return closely followed by eating indoors in May. You can still show your love to the dining options that are being provided to pick up and eat at home.
Lots of the venues in the area are reliant on takeaway trade now more than ever and so if you can show your support, it will ensure that there’s still a growing and diverse number of places to spend a night out when we are back to normal-ish.
Please remember that if you order through a delivery app they take a proportion of the profit from the restaurant, so it’s always worth calling them direct as so many of the options are offering superbly socially distanced collection facilities and that way you’ll have the knowledge that all your pounds are going into Huddersfield’s bottom line.
Put your feet, grab the phone and let us take you on a culinary trip of the area’s best dine at home dishes.
