A budget hotel in central Manchester

Ever heard the phrase location is key? Well, sitting in the middle of Princess Street, the Ibis Manchester has one hell of a location. The shopping district and nightlife in Manchester is hard to beat, with this central spot you will be spoiled for choice.

You’ve got Canal Street, China Town, Charles Street and that’s just outside the door. Walk a little further and you have everything else. Are you in town to explore the culture or the music scene? Not even a 3 minute walk away from Hotel Ibis sits YES, known for its pizza slices, fresh drinks and of course, the newest on the block as well as some classic comebacks in the Manchester music industry. Or if your vibe is more DJ sets and after parties, Joshua Brooks is even closer, go nuts.

Ibis Manchester has 132 guest rooms, all designed with modern features, soft tones and a pop of colour. Basic but beautiful. And while I’m sure you would enjoy your stay regardless, this hotel has one of my favourite features. It’s Pet Friendly! So even if you don’t have a fluff ball of your own to bring on your visit to Manchester, you might get to meet one or two in the communal areas. Fun!

If pets aren’t your thing, the Ibis hotel also offers free WIFI in all the rooms, dry cleaning services, a 24 hour reception and on site dining options. In keeping with the Ibis chain theme, the on-site dining option, Foggs, likes to cater to everyone’s favourites. Do you want pizza, salad or soup? They are just snacks. But be sure to head back down in the morning for the buffet breakfast served every day, to start your day right.

Winter brings a huge haul of seasonal shows, as well as productions that resolutely veer away from the fairy lights.
