Chol Theatre are a powerfully creative company based in Huddersfield Yorkshire, who take their work all across the UK. Set up in 1989 by husband and wife team Adam and Kim Strickson, Chol was established as a charity in 1995 with a mission to harness community spirit and reflect ‘diverse voices’. Since then, continual innovation has seen Chol become national leaders in ‘live story-making using co-creation’, and, as a resident company at Huddersfield’s Lawrence Batley Theatre they often launch their work in the community they started in.
