Who doesn’t love a cute little cocktail bar? Located right in the centre of Liverpool, although thankfully far enough away from Concert Square to not hear the squeals of drunk students on a Saturday night, Brass Monkey is a quirky bar, on an unassuming side street. Before you taste the cocktails, you may be drawn in by the swings – some of the tables have hanging seats instead of chairs and let’s be honest – we never actually grow out of loving swings, we just get too big for them. Now though, you can have a gentle sway while enjoying a truly grown up drink.

Colourful lanterns and umbrellas hang above the bar and the whole place is a pleasant mishmash of styles. It’s cosy, it’s friendly and the cocktails are delicious. The menu offers enough to satisfy most tastes with a choice of cocktails as well as wines, whiskeys and beers. There are regularly changing seasonal cocktails and seasonal offers too. Everything is served and garnished to perfection.

Brass Monkey isn’t just about the drinks though – check their social media for more info on visiting entertainers, which in recent months have been magicians, working their magic right at the table.
