Stig of the Dump at Grosvenor Open Air Theatre
Creative TouristA revival of Grosvenor Park’s sell-out, critically acclaimed production of Stig of the Dump will play in Chester this summer. The children’s favourite will be performed in rep alongside Shakespearean tragedy Romeo and Juliet and Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women in the stunning surroundings of the park’s open air theatre.
Based on the story by Clive King, Stig of the Dump tells the story of a boy’s friendship with a mysterious caveman.
Established in 2010, Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre is one of the UK’s best-loved open-air theatres and regularly plays to sold-out audiences across the summer. The theatre is produced by Storyhouse, Chester’s award-winning cultural centre.
