This guided walk takes in two cities – and some of the most important landmarks from Manchester and Salford’s radical past. Be treated to a curator’s tour of the collections at the People’s History Museum and the Working Class Movement Library (a lesser-known historical gem and Tardis of loosely left-leaning histories), before stopping off at renowned Salford pub the Crescent for a pie and pea supper and a historically-orientated pub quiz. Your knowledge of everything from Friedrich Engels to Lord Horror, the Suffragettes to the Hacieda will be tested. Feel free to just take part in the quiz, which starts at 7pm (there are prizes…).
