The varied programme has something for all. Highlights include the chance to explore unusual items held in the museum’s extensive archives and take a behind the scenes tour of its Conservation Studio – the only one of its kind in Britain, dedicated to the preservation of banners. There’ll also be opportunities to handle some of the rare objects acquired by the museum over the last 10 years that are not on public display.
