Dress up and get down to The Bridgewater Hall this New Year’s Eve, for an uplifting gala concert themed around Let’s Groove.

Looking to the leading lights of the 70s and 80s, the concert will feature stone-cold classic hits and TV themes that defined an era of feel-good music, including Earth, Wind & Fire’s ‘September’, David Bowie’s ‘Let’s Dance’, Chaka Khan’s ‘Ain’t Nobody’, Prince’s ‘Kiss’, Bill Medley & Jennifer Warnes’ ‘(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life’ and Stevie Wonder’s ‘Sir Duke’.

Performing will be The Bridgewater Hall Concert Orchestra, joined by host and soloist Miranda Wilford and guest soloist Damien Edwards. Both have appeared in many lead roles in the West End and around the world, with Wilford also carving out an impressive career as a singer with the likes of the prestigious Syd Lawrence Orchestra, the funk big band Spice Fusion and the London Movie Orchestra.
