Back by popular demand, Baby Book Club returns to Bluecoat, Liverpool this September with six Thursday morning sessions designed for parents, carers and their pint-sized book lovers aged 3 to 12 months.

Led by popular artist and storyteller Roger Hill, each week features book chat, storytelling, group reading and imaginative activities themed around a specially chosen storybook. It’s literary stimulation for the babies and grown-up interaction for the adults, win-win. You’ll also be welcomed with a hot drink on arrival, and not the kind that you brew then microwave three times then forget about entirely while you run around like a headless chcicken.

These sessions are as much about you as they are about your baby. Think of it as a mini book club disguised as baby bonding time, and there’s lots of reasons to join. Firstly, you’ll be building  your baby’s early love of books, and you’ll connect with other bookish parents and carers. You’ll get fun reading ideas and recommendations and you can drink your tea while it’s still warm. Sounds pretty perfect.

So whether you’re raising the next literary genius or just looking for a nice time out with your little one where you can meet like-minded parents, Baby Book Club is a relaxed, creative, joyful start to your baby’s reading journey.

The cost is £52 for 6 weeks. Spaces are limited, book now and secure your spot on the story rug.
