Divorced, beheaded, survived… Divorced, beheaded, LIVE!

This summer, Tudor history gets another glow-up as the internationally acclaimed musical sensation SIX returns to Manchester, reigning supreme at the Palace Theatre from Tuesday 13 August – Sunday 1 September.

After sell out shows across the globe, racking up over 35 major international awards including the Tony Award for ‘Best Original Score’ and ‘Best Costume Design’, this sell-out production invites the six Tudor queens to take the mic and remix 500 years of heartbreak into a fearless, fierce and fabulous 80-minute pop concert.

Family-friendly and apologetically bold, SIX at Palace Theatre is not your average, slightly dull, staring at the blackboard history lesson. In fact, with its terrific tunes, powerhouse vocals and some seriously dazzling costume design, SIX will have audiences of all ages dancing in their seats and probably quite interested in those terrifyingly terrific Tudor times.

Perfect for families with tweens and teens (recommended age 10+), SIX at The Lowry a marvellous summer treat that combines humour, sparkle, sisterhood and also has a tincy bit of learning in there too! It’s packed with glittering girl power and snappy, addictive songs you’ll be humming all the way home and probably throughout the summer holidays – oops

Whether you’re team Anne Boleyn or Catherine Parr, it’s time to dust off your crowns and book in for a royally unmissable experience with SIX at Palace Theatre.

The image depicts a man at the centre with grey hair and rosy cheeks, surrounding him are fairies that appear to be created in his own image with multiple limbs and unique bodily proportions. Around them are hundreds of vials, microscopes and dated scientific equipment.
