Roker Hotel offers wonderful views of Roker pier and beach, with easy access to Sunderland city centre via car or Metro. It is a fantastic choice for any visitor to the city. From the outside of the building the hotel honours its Victorian seaside foundations, with over a hundred and seventy years of hospitality to its name it is one of the longest serving hotels in the city. The interior of the hotel has been modernised to make it contemporary, stylish, and popular with guests. Due to the age of the building, no two of the forty-three rooms are the same, but each room has been designed with all of the modern features that you would expect and come to enjoy. There are three different options to choose from; Let There Be Crumbs for the guest with a sweet tooth, a range of fantastic patisseries that will leave you wanting more. Poetic Licence on the other hand is for your cocktails, gin and on-tap ale. From a calm afternoon G&T to pre-drinks before going to the Empire Theatre for a west end show on tour, the Poetic Licence has the drink for you. Finally, but in no ways the least, Antico restaurant will be able to sate your hunger with meals inspired with cuisine inspired from all across the world during your stay!
