Another perfectly located, central option for travellers to the port city of Liverpool, PH Hostel offers a friendly, comfy place to stay. Whether you need to be close to one of the universities or planning a late night out with mates, the hostel has everything you need.

You can choose from multiple room configurations if you’re travelling solo, such as a bed in a ten, eight, six or four- person dormitories (female only rooms are available), as well as private twin and family and suites if you don’t feel like sharing.

Facilities like a self catering kitchen, dining area, common lounge spaces and a bar are all available, and you can pay a little extra for breakfast in the morning.

PH Hostel is on Mount Pleasant, close to Lime Street Station and the Knowledge Quarter where you’ll find many of the main university buildings. It’s a short walk away from the city centre if you’re after tourist attractions and culture: the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral is just up the road (guaranteed you won’t miss it), while the  Metropolitan Cathedral is just at the other end of Hope Street. If you need a caffeine fix first thing, you’ll find the strongest coffee at Coffi or Bold Street Coffee, both just a five-minute walk away.
