The India Buildings in Liverpool retain the French classicism of the Cunard Building on the waterfront; its architect, Herbert J. Rowse, had worked in North America and his grand, detailed building wouldn’t look out of place in New York. Located on Water Street (close to Merseyrail stations) its nine storeys offer the most sought after Grade A office space in the city, while the ground floor hosts a gorgeous arcade of tiny shops, such as antiques boutique Circa 1900, and cafes running from one side of the building to the other.
