Sound and Music Late at Science and Industry Museum, Manchester 15 March 2017 Entrance is free — Visit now

The Museum of Science and Industry’s ever-popular Lates series returns in March, with a ‘Sound and Music’ theme. MSI’s three-hour-long takeover will feature a talk by designer Peter Saville, discussing the museum’s Factory Records archive, plus exciting drop-in sessions on playing the carrot clarinet, creating music with a sweet potato, making your own origami record player and even turning sound into fire.

The results of MSI’s three-year-long mass citizen science experiment, HookedonMusic, will also be revealed – and the Late will culminate with a silent disco. Find out more.

Entry is free but advanced booking is recommended to guarantee entry.
