Free goody bags, free whisky and amazing guest performers, Sh!t Theatre are back at HOME.

The Muppet Christmas Carol is as much a part of Christmas as mince pies and matching festive jumpers. And while there have been many adaptations of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, The Muppet Christmas Carol is up there as one of the best. An essential part of any festive night in, the film stars Michael Caine as Ebenezer Scrooge, Kermit the Frog as Bob Cratchit and Miss Piggy as Mrs Cratchit.

Now – Sh!t Theatre are renowned for their comic adaptations of popular films – last year they put their own spin on the classic romantic comedy Love Actually. For 2021 they present Sh!t Theatre’s Sing-a-long-a-Muppet Christmas Carol – a pleasingly ridiculous show for the festive season, offering a hilariously skewed adults-only alternative to the usual Christmas fare.

Sh!t Theatre, aka Rebecca Biscuit and Louise Mothersole, have been writing, performing and creating live shows since 2010. Described as ‘rising stars of performance art’ by The Telegraph, Sh!t Theatre have received rave reviews for their previous shows, DollyWould and Drink Rum With Expats, at HOME.

A pleasingly ridiculous show for the festive season, offering a hilariously skewed adults-only alternative to the usual Christmas fare.

Described as “genius” by The Guardian and “side-achingly funny” by What’s On Stage, Sh!t Theatre’s festive sack is bulging with fun and a good old sing-along to get you into the Christmas spirit.
