Manchester has proudly championed LGBTQ+ culture for decades. Providing spaces for people to organise political movements, create brilliant art and host fabulous parties. It’s only fitting then that the Greater Manchester LGBTQ+ Arts and Culture Network Conference is keen to bring diverse communities from within LGBTQ+ culture together to discuss the key issues being faced today.

Whether you’re an individual artist, creative, company, community group, producer, programmer, venue or festival, the LGBT Foundation invites you to get inspired, provoke conversation and challenge your ways of working in 2022 in response to the issues raised.  There will be a collection of keynote speeches, panel discussions, presentations, performances and more. Individuals will have the opportunity to access funding advice directly from Arts Council England and pitch their work to the room.

You can hear the wise words of Phyll Opoku-Gyimah (Executive Director and Co-Founder of UK Black Pride), Adam Carver, Tammy Reynolds and Yvy DeLuca with more to be announced. There will also be performances from Jova and the Wave, Max Hedgehog and Cheddar Gorgeous.

The event will be taking place at HOME, with tickets available on a pay what you can basis.
