Salford Museum and Art Gallery hosts the last phase of the pilot project Hybrid Futures, a partnership between the University of Salford Art Collection and Shezad Dawood Studio. The project has been co-produced by a number of arts organisations with previous displays at Castlefield Gallery in Manchester, Grundy Art Gallery in Blackpool and Touchstones Rochdale.

Hybrid Futures has been focusing on climate, sustainability as well as collaborative learning and working which is has illustrated perfectly. The last leg of the event once more gathers the work of Shezad Dawood, Jessica El Mal, Parham Ghalamdar and RA Walden, with a spotlight on sustainable methods of working and each artist’s different approach to the climate crisis.

Additionally, the show also coincides with the gallery’s art film season so Ghalamdar’s film Birds or Borders will be screened between 18 March – 3 April, and Dawood’s Leviathan Cycle, Episode 1: Ben will be shown between  10 – 24 April. Check out the website for more details. f
