Following a special screening of the film How to Train Your Dragon and the chance to meet the author Cressida Cowell on Friday night, the Ryedale Book Festival is putting on a host of events on Saturday just for kids. The day is packed full of fantastic interactive literary activities and crafty ideas with a magical dragon theme.

Special guests include award-winning writers Elys Dolan and Sarah Driver, award-winning illustrator Emily Gravett and poet/magician Nick Toczek. Be ready to join a wizard school, draw your own dragon and paint pottery, decorate “Zog” biscuits, and meet some really cool authors!
