The largest museum in Sheffield, Weston Park is an award-winning, family-friendly venue with a varied permanent collection and rotating programme of temporary exhibitions. Housed in a grand neo-classical building surrounded by the lush greenery of a landscaped park, Weston Park Museum has an impressive and diverse showcase of permanent displays. From pyramids and pharaohs to mummies and hieroglyphics, learn all about one of history’s most fascinating civilisations in the brand-new ‘Ancient Egypt’ gallery. Even the littlest historians will enjoy dressing up and taking part in the interactive ‘build a pyramid’ activity.

Stop by the museum’s natural history gallery and find out more about evolution, habitats and the world we live in. A permanent display, visitors to ‘What on Earth!’ will be able to see birds and insects in their natural environment and find out more about the plight of endangered species.

The museum also offers a series of permanent displays offering a lively and informative perceptive on Sheffield – its people, industries and the city’s transformation through the ages.
