User Not Found is an immersive video podcast from acclaimed theatre makers Dante or Die, about what happens to our online identities after we die.

It’s the moment of your death. There’s a magic button. Do you delete your entire online legacy? Or do you keep it and leave the choice for someone else?

Dante or Die are known for making bold and ambitious site-based performance. Now they have translated their hugely successful show, about death and social media, into a new immersive video podcast. User Not Found: A Video Podcast will be available to experience for free on Dante or Die’s YouTube channel.

https://youtu.be/kcCvR4y2yk8

Written by pioneering theatre-artist Chris Goode, User Not Found explores ideas around public and private grief, connection and community and the ethics of digital ownership. For this new performance, Dante or Die have collaborated with creative technologists Marmelo Digital to transform the bespoke app used for the original live show, into a full digital experience.

So make sure your phone is charged, plug in your headphones and find a quiet space. Experience this personal, deeply reflective and witty tale of a man who finds himself facing a difficult decision: to keep or delete.

User Not Found: A Video Podcast is happening as part of HOME Manchester‘s September 2020 – Jan 2021 Theatre Season.
