Olivier Award-winning choreographer, Botis Seva brings his latest hip hop dance production, Until We Sleep, to Lowry this January.

Performed by Far From the Norm dance company, Until We Sleep is billed as a “dark and atmospheric adventure”, a visual journey through a collage of stories around resistance and change.

Blended a celestial blend of percussion and guttural sounds with undulating dance and music, the piece explores themes around oppression, leadership, faith and temporality. Political, vital and fearless, a piercing lighting design and feathered costume design perfectly accompanying the performers on stage.

Until We Sleep runs at around 60 minutes and is recommended for ages 12+.
