This festive season, bring your family to experience Disney’s The Muppet Christmas Carol presented live at the Bridgewater Hall, with its striking musical score performed alongside the iconic Christmas film.

See all your favourite muppets performing a unique take on the classic Charles Dickens story. Our favourite green friend Kermit the Frog will be playing Bob Cratchit, the exploited clerk of the cantankerous and selfish Ebenezer Scrooge (played by Michael Caine), and Gonzo, as Charles Dickens, narrates the story with support from Rizzo the Rat. The film also features the hilarious Miss Piggy as Emily Cratchit, Fozzie Bear as Fozziwig, and Robin the Frog as Tiny Tim. The three Christmas spirits — past, present and future, pay Scrooge a visit. Each Christmas spirit attempts to show Scrooge the mistakes he’s made to help him to redeem himself, but unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be much hope for the grumpy Scrooge… Or is there?

The original Muppet Christmas Carol score was composed by Miles Goodman (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Little Shop of Horrors) with songs by Oscar®, Emmy® and Grammy®-winning songwriter Paul Williams (Rainbow Connection, Evergreen).
