A full winter extravaganza glides into The Lowry this Christmas with C.S Lewis’ classic tale of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Recently voted Britain’s favourite book, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe has sold over 100 million copies in 30 different languages and been adapted for three major motion pictures. Now the critically acclaimed theatre show heads to Salford, direct from London. Promising icy magic and mystical adventure – audiences are invited to step through the wardrobe and into the enchanted kingdom of Narnia.

Join Lucy, Edmund, Susan and Peter as they depart wartime Britain and embark on an unforgettable adventure into a snowy faraway land. Packed with eccentric and colourful characters, the stage show features everyone’s favourite talking faun, Mr Tumnus; the glorious Mr and Mrs Beaver; the noble and unforgettable lion, Aslan and the ferocious and feared White Witch.

Starring Samantha Womack as Narnia’s evil White Witch, the production boasts an impressive line-up of performers and creatives.

Directed by Michael Fentiman, the spectacular show is based on the original stage adaptation by Sally Cookson. With aerial acrobatics, stunning puppetry and original set design by the Tony and Olivier- Award-winning Rae Smith, the timeless story of magic and mischief is brought to life.
