Once upon a time, in a world far, far away, there was a piece of wood…

It’s happening, no lie. On 13 May for one day only it’s time to get lost in a world of joy and make believe at The Curious Adventures of Pinocchio at Waterside Arts, produced by Lyngo, the creators of Tom Thumb. Enjoy an unforgettable performance jam-packed with puppetry and magic, as one of our favourite classic fairytale stories jumps out of a dusty old book and comes alive on stage.

Joined by talking crickets, cats and foxes, youngsters and adults alike will be glued to their seats, laughing out loud, singing along and groaning in all the right places as that naughty Pinocchio goes on all sorts of dreamy adventures, with CBeebies Patrick Lynch turning the pages of the magic book and pulling the strings to tell the mesmerised audience what really happened to our favourite wooden puppet, Pinocchio.

Can Pinocchio find and save his father, his creator, the kind old Geppetto? Can he stop telling those porky pies? And will he ever become a real boy? Who nose… but you’ll be sure to find out as you join the cheeky puppet Pinocchio across lands and seas and oceans on his amazing, life-changing journey, in a production which holds at its heart the important themes of family, home, and growing and learning from your mistakes.

The Curious Adventures of Pinocchio at Waterside Arts is approximately 60 minutes long and recommended for children aged 5+ and their grownups to enjoy together. With the production on for one day only, it is anticipated tickets will sell out fast, so book now to avoid disappointment and make memories with your family and friends that will last a life-time.
