The Beech is a traditional English pub and the most famous suntrap in Chorlton. It was once a pub to avoid but in recent years has embraced all the Chorlton hipster tropes — expect vintage fairs, expensive dogs and street food alongside a good selection of beers and ales.

But Beech Road is full of good boozers. We recommending starting from the other end of the street in The Lead Station, and drinking your way down towards The Beech. Then one in the Horse and Jockey — why Not. Before you know it you’ll be stumbling through Chorlton Green towards the Bowling Green for a pint and a pie to cap things off. And who could blame you.
