Join photographer Peter Defty for a sculpture and portrait photography workshop at Dean Clough in Halifax. The day will involve a skills workshop, taking portraits in the studio and photographing Alice Irwin’s sculpture People Play outside at Dean Clough.

Peter Defty has had a career in the commercial photography industry that so far spans 30 years. Based at Dean Clough, his time is split between commercial work, many ongoing personal projects and Lecturing at Leeds Beckett University. Peter shoots on both digital and analogue formats, the latter being on a100yr old process camera, producing traditional negatives up to 14″ x 17″.
