Salvi’s Deansgate Square is celebrating its first birthday in style, with a week of brand-new and exclusive special birthday dishes and cocktails available each day from Sunday 14 – Wednesday 17 May, leading up to a huge party on Thursday 18 May.

On Sunday 14 Salvi‘s Deansgate Square will serve up a beetroot risotto with Salvi‘s x Grandpa Greene’s parmesan ice-cream alongside a Negroni Americano (Campari, vermouth and soda water), while on Monday 15 you can try the montanara (crispy fried pizza dough) with lardo and pesto with the Godfather cocktail (scotch, whiskey, amaretto).

Thursday’s massive party packed full of authentic Italian food and drink

Tuesday 16 is for pizza lovers with an assortment of pizzetti (mini pizzas) on the specials board, and the Limoncello Mojito (white rum, limoncello, lime juice, mint leaves, soda water, syrup), while Wednesday 17 brings out Maurizio Cecco’s homemade truffle ravioli as well as the Lambrusco Spritz (Lambrusco, amaro, grapefruit juice, sparkling water).

In addition, the Salvi’s team has been working on a very exciting collaboration with luxury ice cream brand Grandpa Greene’s to bring a top-secret birthday gelato available to order alongside the special dishes and cocktails.

But the big event is Thursday’s massive party packed full of authentic Italian food and drink, and a huge line-up of showstopping entertainment on the 18 May as a thank you to all of its customers for 12 months of support.

Lucky attendees can expect to taste plenty of all of the exclusive birthday week special dishes, cocktails, both of the brand-new Grandpa Greene’s ice cream collaborations, before enjoying a killer line-up of DJs, sax players, percussionists, and singers, plus a lot more surprises yet to be revealed.

Guestlist to the party will be available on a first-come, first-served basis

Unsurprisingly, the Salvi’s family has a lot of friends, so spots on the guestlist to the party will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and you can claim your place via the Eventbrite link below.

Maurizio Cecco says: “It’s party time here at Salvi’s Deansgate Square! We launched this beautiful venue 12 months ago during such a challenging time for the hospitality industry as a whole, and it is all down to the love and support of all of our customers that we are still here and thriving, so we want to celebrate with them! Make sure you say hello if you see me!”
