Searching for something to brighten up January? Look no further than Pagrav Dance when they bring Aunusthan, a fast-moving and vibrant display of classical Indian dance to The Lowry.

A celebration of neo-classical Indian dance and music, and perfectly illustrative of the multi-faceted nature of kathak, Aunusthan sees seven dancers and four expert musicians propel the audience on a dynamic journey through riotous rhythms and movement.

Expect rigorous choreography and polished performance in this energetic and irresistible work. Featuring a cast of talented British Asian dance artists – all trained impeccably by Pagrav Dance Company – we think that Aunusthan offers the perfect showcase for the bright future of kathak in the UK.
