For this year’s Manchester After Hours, the Museum of Science and Industry has teamed with the Engine House Collective at Islington Mill to present a unique event exploring themes of surveillance. Now you see me, now you don’t features projections directly onto the museum’s huge Arvo Shakleton aircraft in the centre of the Air and Space Hall, which once operated as a patrol and early warning aircraft (or eye in the sky in a pre-digital age), as well as enveloping sound and atmospheric lighting for an immersive audio-video installation. There will be a special live music performance at 9.30pm.

The event will take place in the Air and Space Hall and visitors should use the side entrance on Liverpool Road.
