Me Gusta Collective – New Year's Eve Special at Band on the Wall, Manchester 31 December 2024 Tickets from £10 — Book now

Following a sellout show with Habibi Funk, Me Gusta Collective is back at Band on the Wall for the big one: New Year’s Eve.

Since forming in 2016, Me Gusta Collective has been committed to infusing more global sounds into Manchester’s music scene, booking renowned DJs like Kampire, Onipa, Daniel Haaksman, Penya, Habibi Funk, Marfox, and El Buho. Their nights are as eclectic as you might imagine, bringing a mix of salsa, Latin funk, kuduro, house, breaks, and reggaeton – taking you from classic rhythms to bass-heavy electronic soundscapes.

For New Year’s Eve, they’re bringing the goods again. Special guests Atiké and Obeka have made a name for themselves with DJ mixes featured on NTS, Rinse FM, and Worldwide FM, showcasing their talent across the UK. Their events celebrate innovative sounds from around the globe, including Afro-house, Latin bass, St Lucian Soca, Congolese Soukous, Baile Funk, Kuduro, and Gqom.

Blending these diverse influences with their UKG, breakbeat, club, and techno roots, Me Gusta Collective always keeps you on your toes. Expect the unexpected, with dynamic sets that span from 80bpm to 160bpm, ensuring an unforgettable night on the dance floor – exactly what New Year’s Eve calls for.
