We’re getting to that time when everyone starts asking, “What are your plans for New Year’s Eve?” However you choose to celebrate, one thing always rings true across memorable midnights – it’s about surrounding yourself with the people you love.

On the last day of the year, Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall will once again be putting on its annual New Year’s Eve celebration. The theme this year? Love is in the Air. Think timeless hits and feel-good favourites from some of the biggest names, past and present.

Fronting the evening are West End stars Miranda Wilford (your host for the evening as well as performer) and Damien Edwards. They will be joined by the incredible Bridgewater Hall Concert Orchestra for a night of musical escapism you can get lost in. 

The full setlist draws from decades of love songs that have bounced around the charts for years. Oldies but goodies like ‘All You Need Is Love’ by The Beatles and ‘Cheek to Cheek’ by adorable duo Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong will have you singing along. And not-so-oldies like ‘Crazy in Love’ by Beyoncé and ‘Love Again’ by Dua Lipa are bound to have you on your feet. Performances that hold so much nostalgia and celebration, a musical love letter to life’s best moments.

You can even make the night longer by starting it earlier. Before the show, you are welcome to go and enjoy the pre-concert entertainment with DJ Wayne on an LED dance floor. Order yourself a glass of champagne and dance the year out.
