On Monday 9 October, four of the North’s most revered chefs will join forces to cook up a culinary storm in aid of industry charity Hospitality Action.

The award-winning line-up consists of Tim Allen of 1 Michelin star sō-lō, Aughton; Danielle Heron of Osma, Prestwich; Stosie Madi of National Restaurant Awards Gastropub of the Year Parkers Arms, Ribble Valley and James Mackenzie of Michelin Star Pipe and Glass, Beverley. The event all takes place at the stunning grade II listed Kimpton Clocktower in Manchester.

Hospitality Action does vital work to support hospitality people in crisis

Hosted by Hospitality Action ambassador Paul Askew of Liverpool’s superb The Art School Restaurant, guests will be treated to a canapé and drinks reception and a four-course meal with wine, while hearing first-hand from the chefs during a Q&A. All diners will also be able to join the prize draw and take part in fundraising auctions to get their hands on exclusive experiences and overnight stays.

Between the gourmet highs, Hospitality Action will bring to life the crucial work they do day in and day out, to support hospitality people in crisis.

James Mackenzie, Chef and Owner of the Pipe and Glass said: “I’m very proud to be associated with Hospitality Action, the work they do to support people in hospitality struggling with various personal challenges throughout the UK is important. The money we raise at this guest chef dinner will go towards easing the financial burden for many families who are currently stretched to the limit.”

Mark Lewis, CEO, Hospitality Action said: “We are grateful to Tim, Danielle, Stosie and James, who will deliver an amazing menu that demonstrates their incredible talents and showcases the best of Northern Hospitality. All proceeds from the evening will help Hospitality Action provide grants to families in the grip of poverty and struggling in the face of the cost-of-living crisis.”

Tickets for the Chefs’ Dinner at Kimpton Clocktower cost £135 per person and £1,300 for a table of ten and can be purchased at the link below.
