Rosamund Brass Quartet brings a free Festive Live set to the Social.

The quartet formed in September 2020 at the Royal Northern College of Music, when four friends got together during the pandemic, and has since performed across the UK. Highlights include the RNCM Festival of Brass, St Martin-in-the-Fields and the ITV Christmas carol service, and, most notably, the 2025 Lucerne Festival.

In May 2022, despite being one of the youngest groups in the competition, it won the RNCM’s Philip Jones Brass Prize. It also took the audience vote at the Chris Rowland Ensemble of the Year Prize, and then uniquely repeated both wins in 2023. The quartet is committed to new music too, having premiered works including ‘This Is The Place…’, a four-movement piece depicting different times and places in Manchester. Book your free ticket in advance.
