Festive Live takes a Bowie turn with this jazz tribute from Northern Lights Quartet, staged to celebrate the Lightroom show David Bowie: You’re Not Alone.
John Bailey on guitar, Richard Hammond on bass, Richard Wetherall on keyboard and Dave Walsh on drums come together to uncover new dimensions in Bowie’s extraordinary catalogue. Bailey is a familiar name on the North West jazz scene, and his own quartet draws on the likes of Pat Metheny, John Scofield and Kenny Wheeler.
Together, the four create a vivid celebration of an artist whose influence continues to resonate, bringing renewed energy and colour to his music, in the season Bowie would have turned 80. Free to attend, with advance booking required.
