Throughout Rapha Rides Manchester, the beautiful gallery space and café at the Rapha Clubhouse will host a variety of special events, displays and activities, with plenty to get involved in. Among these, Leica Shot of the Weekend will take the form of a growing montage of photographs captured by people throughout the run of the festival. For the chance to have your image included among the display, simply post it on Instagram with the hashtag #rapharides. The winning shot will be selected by Leica Manchester, and receive a Leica SOFORT Instant Camera. Alongside this, a display of memorabilia and stories will explore Manchester’s long and rich history of cycling clubs – from the hard-core, über-competitive types, to the enthusiastic weekenders.

In case all this leaves you craving a spot of physical activity yourself, the Zwift Sprint Challenge will also be stationed in the gallery, offering the chance to see how far you can pedal in 60-seconds, earn a place on the leader board and win a range of prizes. While, for the less competitive, heart-racing inclined; a guided yoga session will follow a gentle-paced, no-drop ride out of the city led by Team Glow – Manchester’s women’s cycling group and network.

A busy image created using generative AI. The image depicts a man at the centre with grey hair and rosy cheeks, surrounding him are fairies that appear to be created in his own image with multiple limbs and unique bodily proportions. Around them are hundreds of vials, microscopes and dated scientific equipment.
