Following a sell-out event earlier this year at Manchester Art Gallery, Ember & the Vixens are back with their festive and foxy adults-only Christmas Cabaret.

Bringing all the glamour, yuletide sparkle and a heady dose of female empowerment, prepare to see the beautiful atrium of Manchester Art Gallery transformed into a lavish cabaret-style winter wonderland when Ember & the Vixens present a Christmas-themed edition of their popular night. Festive Foxes promises to be an extra special and glitzy evening event with enchanting music, captivating burlesque, punchy spoken word and much more.

With jazz music filling the air and glitter and sequins a-plenty, the world of showbiz takes over the gallery’s atrium. As always, Ember Travixen will be taking to the stage, and the much-loved MC Jas Nisic will be singing and hosting, introducing a variety of amazing performers from the burlesque, music, poetry and circus worlds. You can expect more than a few festive touches too – including a Christmas favour at every place setting.

Created by the multi-award-winning theatre maker Selina Helliwell, Ember & the Vixens have built a loyal following and enjoyed a string of sell-out shows. The company experienced huge success with their previous burlesque takeover of Manchester Art Gallery in April and more recently, have brought a ‘Belated Birthday Special’ cabaret and a Halloween-themed ‘Creepy Cabaret’ to thrilled audiences across the city. Now, this December, we’re poised and ready for Festive Foxes – an exquisite evening guaranteed to get everyone into the Christmas swing of things.
