Join Floating Art for a unique event that will help you prepare for the Lunar New Year.

At Ducie Street Warehouse, you’ll learn how to paint with Bamboo brushes, mineral paint and Chinese ink from an experienced local artist Ula Fung.

The workshop will begin with the setting up of your paper lantern which will be glued together. You will receive a demonstration from Ula who will teach you some Painting techniques to help you warm up by painting onto Rice Paper.

Finally you will then create your own design using our provided references for inspiration and paint onto your very own paper lantern.

This workshop is for people aged 16+ and it suitable for people of all painting abilities, whether you haven’t picked up a brush since school or you’re a regular painter already!
