Six months after his previous visit, a sold out show at Soup Kitchen, East London’s Alfa Mist returns – this time, to Band on the Wall.

The self-taught pianist and occasional rapper boasts a wide range of influences: from jazz, soul and world music, via film soundtracks, through to grime and hip-hop where he has made a name for himself as a producer.

His debut album Nocturne featured new star Tom Misch, while has follow-up – last year’s Antiphon – has made him one to watch as well, in the current new jazz scene. If grime-influence jazz appeals, this is the show for you.
