Red Brick Vintage, Cains Brewery, Liverpool

Red Brick Vintage (or Red Brick Market, as per its formal name), part of the Cains Brewery Village development in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle, is a cavernous warehouse of vintage, antiques, retro, salvage, hand-crafted, brocante, collectables, vinyl and more. You’ll find over 50 independent traders all in one place, from local artists to vintage gems. You can walk around freely and explore, then take your wares to the entrance booth to pay. It’s a great way to enjoy a rainy day in the city, wander around for a few hours and find a bargain.

The market attracts the local alternative crowd and some tourists too – as with all vintage buys, there is some luck involved in finding The Right Thing, so it’s a good idea to pop in regularly if you’re looking for something specific. From tiny pieces of jewellery to armchairs, Red Brick Market really does have a wide range of treasures to explore. It’s worth noting too, not everything there is vintage, there are stalls with new, handmade products too. It may just have the perfect gift you’re looking for, whether it’s for a loved one or a treat ‘from me, to me’.

Round the corner, you’ll find coffee shops, bars and eateries too, from the Baltic Market to Camp and Furnace.
