Vintage shops in Liverpool

Maja Lorkowska, Exhibitions Editor

Liverpool has plenty of vintage shops, to the delight of local students and lovers of all things retro and sustainable. Standing the test of time against the chain giants of Liverpool ONE, most of these stores have been around for a long time and continue to provide the good people of Liverpool with all of the beautiful, quirky and downright weird finds you’d expect in any good vintage shop.

If you don’t have time for a wander around the city but want to cram in as many vintage stores as possible, head to Bold Street where you’ll find at least three of the ones listed below. There are also lots and lots of charity shops around, if you’re in the mood for browsing, so keep an eye out for those. Shopping for vintage gems is thirsty work and there are plenty of cute cafés and eateries nearby, in the Bold Street area and beyond. In fact, at least one of the shops below is a café too so you can stop for a cuppa while admiring vintage chairs, posters and candle holders. Happy hunting!
