Laying claim to the self-imposed title of Leeds’ first ever plant shop, you’ll find it just off Call Lane inside the historic Corn Exchange, a popular shopping hub that is also home to popular local vintage shop Chinese Laundry, The Cheesy Living Co, and Studio Dawn, amongst others.

From its shop up on the balcony, plant lovers will find a glorious selection of rare and popular house plant varieties, as well as everything needed to keep your prized possessions looking their absolute best. Whether you’re on the hunt for something unkillable, like a snake plant or spider plant, or something beautiful and rare like a watermelon peperomia, you’re sure to find it at Plant Point.

Run by a knowledgeable team who live and breathe all things plants, soil, and sunlight, no matter if you’re a complete novice or an experienced gardener they will be on hand to impart knowledge and help answer any questions you might have surrounding the best plant to buy, and the best place to put it to make sure it thrives.

Choices here are wide and varied – spanning everything from thrillers and spillers to fillers. From trailing hanging plants to spiky little cacti, to huge statement trees that are sure to bring your living room to life, if you want it the chances are they will have it. And if not, they can probably source it for you.

You can also stock up on all the essentials here needed to keep your plants alive. Choose from 10 special potting mixes, each designed to give your plant the best nutrition and growing conditions, and browse Plant Point’s selection of plant accessories to really get your indoor gardening goals into full swing. From potting mats and nursery pots, to liquid plant food, gardening gloves,  and multiple moss poles and moss varieties, everything you could need is at your fingertips.

For those eager to learn more, Plant Point also hosts regular succulent and cacti arrangement workshops, as well as a host of different terrarium workshops. Here, plant lovers can take their skills up a notch and return home with their very own LED jar, bottle terrarium or monastery steps terrarium (yes, really). The shop also sells terrarium kits to play with at home, perfect for carrying on your new found skills – or for treating a friend.

As well as a city centre location, Plant Point also boasts a second store in Batley’s Redbrick Mill – perfect for suburbanites who want to stock up on their favourite plants and bring the outdoors in. At both shops, plant lovers are in for a treat. SImply put, if you’re looking for some seriously stunning plants then look no further than Plant Point – the original and first house plant shop in Leeds.
