Journey to Shipley’s buzzing brewery scene with Saltaire brewery‘s immersive tours and tastings – an experience that blends Yorkshire brewing heritage with modern craft flair. Fully established in 2006 beside the Leeds & Liverpool Canal, Saltaire has built a reputation for no-nonsense quality  – from their flagship Blonde and citrusy Cascade Pale to the award-winning Triple Choc Stout. The guided tour takes you behind the scenes into the brewhouse and the state-of-the-art packaging plant, giving you a full sense of what “real Yorkshire beer” really means.

Over roughly 90 minutes, the knowledgeable team will walk you through every stage – from soaking grains to bottling – before leading you to the Taproom and beer garden for a tasting flight. You’ll sip a rotating selection of cask ales, lagers and keg beers, freshly brewer on site. Visitors consistently describe the tour as “enjoyable and informative” with “knowledgeable and friendly” guides – perfect for anyone keen to deepen their connection with their pint.
