Cultureplex, Ground Floor, Warehouse, Ducie St,, Manchester, M1 2TP – Visit Now
Cultureplex is a new complex at Ducie Street Warehouse. There are three different dining areas, Bistrotheque, The Lounge and Klatch, all with different menus. But there’s more to it than food. This is a place where you can watch a film, enjoy music, listen to a talk, take a class, engage in considered discussion and debate, or simply get some work done.
Cultureplex includes its very own Mini Cini — an independent boutique cinema with 38 recliners and an exquisitely curated film programme developed in partnership with the cinema team at HOME. Anything goes, from podcasts to immersive sound installations, but look out for cutting edge art house, off the radar documentaries and repertory gems.
And especially for the festive season, the brains behind this must-visit venue have installed the most impressive Christmas tree in the city. It’s a jaw-dropping sight – massive, modern and sleek without any pesky pine needles. This piece was created by Manchester artist Kieran Leach and well worth the short walk from Piccadilly Train Station to see in person.
