Housed on Bold Street, underneath Bundobust, is Cow – a vintage clothing store, with two floors of sustainable clothing, fashion and home accessories and reworked pieces, made from second-hand materials.

You’ll notice the bright yellow letters on the sign and the well styled shop window, showing off the latest vintage wares. Cow stocks everything from the 60s to the 00s, so no matter what your vintage preference is, you’ll find your era here – mix and matching is encouraged. The shop has been on Liverpool‘s favourite shopping street for a while now, solidifying its position as a local favourite stockist of retro items. It may not be one of a kind, as there are other Cow shops in Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, London and Nottingham, but it certainly sells one-of-a-kind gems. From leather jackets to 80s exercise shorts, gold chains and cat eye sunglasses, you’ll find it here.

The rails are a well curated selection, so you can browse but enjoy the process. It’s worth mentioning as well that the reworked pieces are made from outdated vintage garments and salvaged fabrics, making this as sustainable choice even if it is a freshly designed garment. They’re all one of a kind too. Oh, and if you can’t make it to Liverpool, Cow also have an online shop.

As you’re on Bold Street, you’ll be near lovely cafés, quirky eateries and other vintage shops that you can check out in our Vintage Shopping in Liverpool guide for more inspiration.
