Kids and grownups of all ages are invited to experience Tchaikovsky’s magic at Winter Tales at The Stoller Hall on 19 December, just in time for Christmas.

Enjoy an atmospheric winter’s evening in one of Manchester’s finest music venues, as the acclaimed Mystery Ensemble plays some of Tchaikovsky’s masterpieces in a way that’s fresh and new, while also staying true to the originals. Pieces will include the beautiful, wintry sounds of The Nutcracker, Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty.

Set in the immersive, modern space of The Stoller Hall, built in 2017 but part of Chetham’s School of Music, a renowned music school with a 600-year history, the room will be literally flowing with vivid sound and emotion, as the Mystery Ensemble, known for its outstanding works from different eras, experimental music, tributes, world soundtracks, and immersive production, recreates the characters and stories of Tchaikovsky’s treasures, and brings the entire audience along for this moving journey.

Winter Tales at The Stoller Hall is 60-minutes long, so it’s the perfect holiday outing for small children who don’t like to sit still for too long. It’s a gorgeous, genuinely magical introduction to live orchestral music for little listeners, as well as being beautifully nostalgic and a lovely experience for the grownups too. And if you wanted to make it even more special, you could head to one of Manchester’s favourite restaurants before or after the show.

Let Tchaikovsky’s music warms your hearts, souls and minds this holiday season. The long-awaited production is taking place in Manchester for one day only and we really don’t want you to miss it – book your tickets now and enjoy a fabulous evening out.
