Frodo leans back to catch the ring on his finger
Lord of the Rings
Book now

Gather your fellowship, pack the lembas bread, and prepare to journey into the depths and darkness of Middle Earth this month, as Showroom present the entire The Lord of the Rings trilogy — extended editions — back-to-back in one giant marathon screening.

Whether you’re sitting down to watch Frodo’s journey to Mordor for the umpteenth time, or you’re somehow being introduced to Aragorn, Gandalf and company for the first time, there’s no better way to experience Peter Jackson’s epic than on the big screen, accompanied by a likeminded crowd of enthusiastic fantasy film fans.

This action-packed 11 hour undertaking follows Elijah Woods’ young Hobbit as he inherits the One Ring and sets out to destroy it in the fires of Mount Doom. Along the way, there is a trip to the orc-infested mines of Khazad-dûm, vast armies pitch battle at the gates of Helms Deep, while giant Ents emerge from ancient forests to fight the grand wizard Saruman. Elves and dwarves stand side by side with men to battle against the forces of the dark lord Sauron, while Frodo and his companion Sam fight giant spiders, and smuggle themselves through the hellish landscape of Mordor.

Thanks to its combination of groundbreaking digital effects, and old school practical trickery — not to mention an all star cast, and the breathtaking location work in Jackson’s native New Zealand — these adaptations of J. R. R. Tolkien’s classic books have stood the test of time. Sign up now for a day in Middle Earth, and don’t worry, Showroom have confirmed that there will be plenty of breaks to rest and refuel along the way.
