A huge hit in the West End, this witty adaptation of The Hound of the Baskervilles reimagines the classic Sherlock Holmes tale as a hilarious and speedy slapstick-style performance. First performed at the Octagon Theatre last summer, audiences will get another chance to experience The Hound of the Baskervilles when it plays at The Lowry in February 2022.

Join world-renowned detective Sherlock Holmes and his sidekick Dr Watson as they set out to unpick the mystery surrounding the untimely death of Sir Charles Baskerville. With mumblings of a mysterious giant hound on the loose, Holmes and Watson must act fast to save the Baskerville family’s last remaining heir. Adapted for the stage by Steven Canny and John Nicholson for Peepolykus, this is a brilliant production offering a brand-new twist on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s most celebrated novel.

Arguably one of the greatest detective stories of all time, the timeless tale is given a fresh and farcical overhaul in Lotte Wakeham’s acclaimed production, directed on tour by Tim Jackson.
Audiences can expect plenty of plot twists, mysterious encounters and red herrings along the way. A talented cast of three are bringing the smash hit comedy to life. With Jake Ferretti playing super sleuth Sherlock, Niall Ransome as the trusted Dr Watson and Serena Manteghi completing the cast as Sir Henry Baskerville. The trio of performers also multirole, bringing a variety of interesting and entertaining characters to life.
