A powerful collective of international women artists have created a pop-up, interactive trail at Manchester Art Gallery especially for Journeys Festival International Manchester. With film, sculpture, textiles, painting, music and poetry with cultural influences from Africa, Asia, Latin America and beyond, the women will lead you on a journey of resistance, creativity and hope with echoes of women’s struggles across the world, struggles to be represented, respected and to be free.
