Taking place at Projekts MCR Skatepark, Saturnalia launches Contact Theatre’s exciting new summer season of outdoor shows. The unique programme sees performance popping up in unexpected places throughout Manchester.

Featuring a collective of multi-talented performers – DJs, MCs, poets, dancers, musicians and storytellers, Saturnalia is an outdoor piece of rave-theatre. A fitting event to celebrate the return of live culture to our city.

The phenomenal Contact Young Company have joined forces with HighRise Theatre and Level Up to create this eclectic new kind of show. The show will be directed by Dominic Garfield from HighRise Theatre, whose acclaimed grime show Lil.Miss.Lady headlined Black Gold Arts Festival in October 2020.

Audiences can look forward to experiencing a thrilling underground world of bass, politics, identity and belonging, set to the backdrop of the city’s stunning Projekts MCR Skatepark.
