Join author, bibliotherapist and founder of the Manchester and Buenos Aires based Reading Rooms project, Dr. Mariana Casale, for a unique reading experience centred around an important selection of artworks on special loan from the Royal Academy of Arts in London.

‘Royal Academy Readers: Images through Text and Text through Image’ at Salford Museum & Art Gallery forms one of the many events, exhibitions, talks and displays presented throughout Salford as part of a nationwide programme celebrating the 250th anniversary of The Royal Academy. Over the course of five monthly sessions, a wide range of paintings, sketches, sculptures and other works will be explored through the reading of a selection of stories on themes such as work, landscape, the body, community and relationships.
